The colloquium titled "La Poética de la Apertura" organized by the Department of Western Languages and Literatures, Spanish Language and Literature Undergraduate Program was held on February 18, 2020 with the valuable participation of Argentine poet and writer Hugo Mujica.
Mujica was accompanied by Gonzalo Manglano de Garay, Director of Istanbul Cervantes Institute. Manglano de Garay gave a short speech highlighting Mujica's importance as a poet and writer. Mujica sincerely shared the meaning of poetry and "silence", which has a special place in his poems, with the participants and read some of his poems.
Mujica sincerely answered all the questions of the participants and the colloquium ended with mutual thanks.
