As part of the Spanish Language and Literature Undergraduate Program Seminars, on April 20, 2021 an online conference titled "La Lengua Española en los EE.UU.: Pasado, Presente y Futuro" was held with the participation of Phd. Karin Ariadne de Villa as a speaker.
Karin Ariadne de Villa focused on the past, present and future status of the Spanish language in the United States, emphasizing the importance of cultural factors and the advantages of being bilingual. She drew attention to the place Spanish has gained in both daily life and business life, thanks to the widespread Spanish-speaking population in America.
Ariadne de Villa, who created an interactive atmosphere with the questions she asked to the participants during her presentation, answered the questions of the participants after sharing valuable informations. The conference ended with mutual thanks.
